Where did you see it? I'm thinking I'll go theater for Inherent Vice, Birman at home.

sure

its more the people in the 'dance' on their phone and queues, and trailers + commercials for days that get mi

For sure people being arseholes during a movie can hurt the experience

Here in Norway they thankfully only show 2 trailers instead of the UK's 3-4 but yeah having to watch trailers that spoil the shit out of movies and are generally annoying is shit.

Despite this it's still worth it imo

Elysium- shit, big let down after District 9

Django Unchained - seriously awesome directing and acting for the most part (idk how Waltz got an oscar for his performance :| ) . The writing was ok. I don't think Tarantino will ever top Pulp Fiction. He has got to get himself some writers and just focus on directing.

I think Django is maybe his best one now that it has all settled a bit

Though I completely get what you mean with the writing etc..

saw St Vincent last night
once I got over the shock of her being Bill Murray & a shit singer
I enjoyed this little film, tho the end scene was pure schmaltz.
