Yeah although if you look up dnb and dubstep in the same query, dnb still eclipses dubstep... marginally. Until you include other names like drum n bass and jungle...

interesting!

if you search 'reggae' you'll notice its a seasonal genre, with peaks at the start of every summer season, but it ends every year back where it started.

'dub' seems to have a noticeable peak at the start of every new year, but it seems to be slowly losing popularity year on year.

'jim davidson' has maintained a pretty steady fan base and people seem to be googling him just as much as they did in 2004.

although you will notice that dubstep has finally risen above jim davidson in the google search trends!

In an ICT lesson, some people in my class were having a competition to find the most searched word. So far we got 'free' and 'and' as the most searched. Also, I remember when something similar was posted here before, try searching 'anal fisting' on trends

Plotting the search term Jungle on the same graph as Dubstep is obviously going to be problematic for numerous reasons...

This is a nice graph which plots "Dubstep" "Drum and Bass" and "UK Garage"

http://www.google.com/trends?q=Dubstep% ... all&sort=0

But this still obviously doesn't take into account different spellings e.g. "Drum n Bass" "Dub Step" and "UKG"

Aren't stats cool?!
