is 34 too old to go to a dubstep night ?

Post by doomtube » Wed Dec 31, 2008 5:15 pm

Im 34 and loving all this dubstep stuff. I used to go to a lot of raves in my teens and twenties but haven't been to anything for a few years now. I remember going to Afterdark in morley, leeds etc and seeing facechewers in there forties and thinking there were totally crazy!!
We live is Streatham so Croydon is very close so i was thinking of the blacksheep bar in the new year....
I just want to experience a few dubstep nights but am a little nervous... any one got any views on the matter?? :o

Totally Kidding!

It seems like only the past two year that Dubstep has been for more of a young crowd! I'd recommend going out with any of your other ex-raving friends, and you'll notice plenty of other thirty-somethings around grooving.

dont be stupid man 34's fine to go out raving, if your still feeling it then good for you! just go accepting the fact that your 34 - dont try and grind any broads, dont brock too wide but DO dress appropriately. Dont want people thinking C.I.D have come to lock down their rave.

'Grind as many broads' as you want, don't listen to jackieboi. That's just ridiculous....mid-thirties you should knob anything you want.

Early 30s is what's up... you are no longer worried about being 'cool'. Go out, be yourself, enjoy the music..

Or you could always invest in a fake mohawk and a few all over prints to fit in, make sure to pose for a lot of pics and such.. lol..

*edit*

I do agree dubstep seems a younger crowd at first glance but really there are a lot of people well into their late 30s and early 40s that still go out. They just seem younger.
