I've heard a lot of people say that, like look at the advert and be hyped, then when it says it's star trek they go off it!-Dubson- wrote:looked sick, saw it was Star Trek and sort of went off it. Still looks like a ig film though
I went to see Slumdog Millionaire with my girlfriend a while back and the advert for Star Trek was on the big screen, I was like a little kid at christmas hahahha

Looks good to me, aint gonna beat Shatner though, he was appalling, made the show in my opinion. That fight with that alien when he got stuck on the desert planet always has me in stitches.

Sick film. Saw it on Sunday. Surprised there's not more buzz on this around here by now.
I don't go to cinema much based on the fact that most films released are either drivel or aren't worth the 'cinema experience' but this was excellent and most definitely requiring of the big screen and sound. Intense, funny, well acted, exciting, well written and worth going to see in the cinema for the sound of the warp drives kicking in alone (my ears were absolutely fucked afterwards). I'm not into Star Trek in the slightest but even I appreciated all the geekery going on (what little i was aware of at any rate).
Anyone else seen it yet?

Take thy thoughts to bed with thee, for the morning is wiser than the evening.Slothrop wrote:well, the bass is interesting but the post-hegemoniacal rhythmic interventionism of the cowbell part is overly redolent of paleospheric neo-step
