I reckon I've got the sub thing going now. Fact is, I have no idea what level it should be at: is the boom added at the cutting stage, or should I be tryin to replicate what I hear on vinyl straight through me studio monitors? :?

@dleted: i wouldn't buy the bm5as - they're basically a bm6a with a too weak amp - and they won't make you happy i'm afraid. already checked the yamaha hs80+hs10 sub? same price, but that's a package! :)

about bass, i'd be curious about first experience with native instrument's massive synth, it's supposed to be a bass-tool... http://www.native-instruments.com/index ... massive_us

and any opinions about these? http://studioelectronics.com/products_synths.php

Yes Native's Massive is an outstanding synth for huge warbling basslines. The intergrated step seq is amazing for 'evolving' sounds....
And you really cannot fault the awesome synth's produced by StudioElectronics, they are pricey but they are REAL... :lol:
