well since i have no firewire port
I cant get the recommended Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 with DSP people are telling me to buy unfortunatly.
BUT i need help to decide if i should get a.....
M-audio Fast Track pro
Mbox (im also looking for protools LE or M-powered btw)
Focusrite Saffire 6 USB
Mbox 2
EM-U 0404
Buy a firewire converter/port (

)

If you are going the protools route, you should already know what you are doing. If you don't know what you are doing, I wouldn't go the protools route.
I would also never EVER buy an m-audio interface (again).

well i already have 2 1/2 daws i use alot, and i always wanted to try protools fro recording guitar. beside's my usual ableton setup.
and what is the sample rate on the mbox? (im also avoiding m audio products, i hear scary things about them)

I personally wouldn't buy (and learn, no small thing) a daw and interface just to record a guitar. If I was doing serious multitrack recording, yeah, I'd definitely be checking out pt9. I think we're on different pages, so disregard my advice.
