Okay...yes, I am guilty as charged, I did use a pirated version of FL Studio 10 through ASSiGN and was wondering, do pirated programs fuck your computer up? I got off phone with dell and it resulted in me having to pay for software service given the fact that all my problems stem from the software rather than the hardware, but yeah, I did buy everything else; massive, fm8, sugar bytes wow, ohmicide and traktor, but ironically not the music program itself
just wanted to see if anyone uses pirated daw and experience problems or none at all? I am gonna purchase fl this week given the fact I have to replace my entire harddrive now

I suppose it could, but I'm willing to bet the guys at Dell ripped you off and told you you need something that you actually don't.

Depends how bad is the virus that came with it but realistically you would be the 1 guy out of 10000.
Cope with it, you just got screwed by the Dell tech guy.

I managed to get a harddrive replacement for free now since I called back about yet a new problem that escalated in the past hour
a few years ago I couldn't really afford to buy any those programs so i torrented, but had virus issues except for FL studio so I trusted that warez team
i always run virus scans with mcafee internet security too so, I unno.
I think it's time I turn myself 100% legit and buy it now lol

Everything I own atm is legally acquired, but I did have a cracked copy of Ableton awhile back, I got it off Piratebay from Team AiR.
I had absolutely no problems, but thats just me.
Regardless, I don't pirate anything anymore, and you shouldn't either (not turning this into a morality holier-than-thou thing, I'm just stating my opinion).
