I blow at using send reverbs. It's the worst part of my production IMO.

I use a lot per track, would be too time consuming to write them all out.
In general I have one for each group of instruments I'm using, so for example strings, pianos and choirs go to a nice large "church" style reverb whereas (midrange) basses may go to a really tight reverb with a massive high pass filter on just to catch the highs and ensure that when I play stabby notes they don't cut too abruptly but bleed together.

This.

Why would you want to have favourite settings, every track is different.

Favorite settings? :?

Doesn't it depend on the sound?

I like to use the default setting for Audacity's Gverb. It doesn't have the same parameters you listed in your template, nor can I use it for sends, but I print a fully wet signal and put it on its own track and pretend it's a send.
Roomsize (m): 75.75
Reverbg Time (s): 7.575
Damping: 0.5
Input Bandwidth: 0.75
Dry Signal level(dB): -70
Early reflection level (dB): 0
Tail Level(dB): -17.5

lol this thread is so specific. its going to completely depend on what you are grouping together and what sound you want in that particular track/album

to add something to the thread: i usually use a plate reverb for my drums (lexicon) with a decay of about .7 - .9 seconds, highpassed

Tbh I suck at reverb. Click through the presets until i hear something I like and then just tweak the wet/dry, maybe lp and hp.

I much prefer stacking delays on top of each other.

I have a thread here discussing the track, and offering you the chance to remix it, more details in thread! See what you can come up with!

I dont have any particular settings but I make a conscious decision early in the track whether I'm going to use a little of a big hall or a lot of a small room.

Specific settings aside, I'd like to hear your guys' thoughts on the predelay parameter. I used to always set it to the shortest time because I thought it would sound more cohesive but I guess if I want something to explode or have punch maybe I should set it so the reverb doesn't start until after the attack of the sound.

I feel like I'm just doing random shit most of the time. Anyone know any good reverb tutorials?

I generally work with those settings depending on the sound. I might set the input highpass high and widen the sound if its a synth/vocal, but if i am going for a spacey reverb on the end of a bassline I would set it lower with the sound more centered. Decay is usually under 4 seconds if it is a send.

One thing i do is put a compressor after the reverb. Really brings out the tails a bit. I think its better to have a short tail with a compressor then a long tail without a compressor, it makes the track a lot cleaner imo.

I realised how important reverb is after hearing this song:
http://youtu.be/TYYyMu3pzL4?t=3m45s

The first part is without any reverb, next is with reverb.
Large difference.
