His name was attached to another project (other than the New Orleans series), but I can't find the link anymore.

I managed to convince my dad to watch Generation Kill with me now that its on FX, so hopefully I'll get him into The Wire.

Also, does anyone have a mp3 of Clay Davis' "Shiiiiiiiiiit" because I need a new text alert.

I'm guessing you're referring to it being shown on FX yeah?

WORD! Thats whats up! Its amazing how much of that show is based in fact. Id be really interested to hear the other side of it. The video said this summer. So is it going to be in a series of installments or just one documentary piece?

The article was saying it's gonna be a series of 10. We'll see.

Even though the show was "fiction" -- a lot of the characters on the show were based on real people.

There were two posts inparticular where i talked about real life / fiction.

If you've ever seen the HBO series "The Corner" -- Omar's character was an amalgamation of a few characters from that show.

See now you are the person I need to talk to about this show. Honestly I want to rewatch it all from the jump. Its crazy how the characters change(or not) over time, and the intricacies of the story line.

Hands down my favorite shows ever.

This is VERY tempting:

Yeah Bmore is an interesting place to say the least. I remember the one time I went, I was visiting a homegirl of mine. We go to a party at the apartment of some dude shes friends with. She gets drunk and bored and decides we should leave. Mind you its the middle of the night, and in a sketchy part of town. So there I was walkin around lost as fuck with a drunk white girl in tow, trying to catch a cab at like 3am. Had my chest out and my serious face on for sure. Ah good times.

No point skipping series. Watch all of them from start to finish. You wont regret it.
