your photos played a very important part in my discovery of the scene and they litterally poked my desire to come to the parties, to meet all these people. i know that the price of the films + scanning bizness, etc. will make it harder, but i hope that we will continue to see photos from you, whatever camera you use... it's particularly meaningfull for we who are not living in london.
:( r.i.p the camera
the first time i ever properly used that camera was at the may 2005 dmz...it arrived that day! thanx for all the support and best wishes, it's much appreciated. i'm thinking of ways i can raise money for a new one. my film camera is lovely but i really do need a digital. Contemplating either a rip roaring d.o.t.s party - loads of wicked bands and dj's, or starting a collection fund (as batfink and a couple of other people have suggested) but in return for limited edition prints or postcards. would this be something you'd be interested in?
either that or i do as the fuzz suggested and try an insurance scam. not sure i'd be comfortable with that tho!

i'd def buy some prints or help out with a party - you've supported me in the past so i oughta return the favour. Plus it's vital that the dubstep scene is documented as much as possible in these exciting times - noone does it better than you tbh.
There's been some wicked fundraiser parties in Bristal over the years (there's another big one in a coupla wks) and they always work well. Last one was for a graf artist who got fined about £3k and had all sortsa shit confiscated - the funds raised obviously didn't cover it all, but helped pay for new equipment & paint etc.

I used to see him at EVERY dubstep related event last year. And always doing the two fist salute to the heavy b-lines. Large up Engine Room!
