program trouble

Post by dash// » Sat Jan 31, 2009 8:59 pm

hey guys

k ive been reading these forums all day after being inspired by ruskos masterclass vid. i have fl studio 8 and sony acid. so yeh, i have a few questions :)

does fl studio have a timeline? or am i blind 0.0. coz to me all i see is adding channels, clikcing a button for the beat, and it looping.

in acid, the media manager tab is empty.

is there a program thats got features like garageband(clear timeline)but like fl studio, which endless possiblities?

im very new to this, and ill try and contribute to the forums as much as possible :)

please dont comment things like "the fourn has the key"(which is hilarious btw) or any form of mockery :/ ty ty

EDIT: i also have ableton, which i cant figure out either, dispite the tutorials :/ i assume fl studios is the best out of the 3?

I don't understand :?

FL has a clock, timeline, and the option to change the display (time, bars, beats, etc) hasn't it? I wasn't hallucinating that was I? h3l9... :lol:

This is what you want ---> http://dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t ... highlight= ;)

It has a timeline just like garageband, it has all the possibilities of FL Studio and it's free!

Good luck! :)

I totally agree, the support for reaper in general is great, get the user guide it explains a lot of things very well.
