Autechre as dubstep

Post by collige » Fri Feb 06, 2009 12:33 am

I've been revisiting a bunch of old Autechre tracks lately and noticed that a bunch of them have a really "dubsteppy" feel, especially Rsdio, Piezo, Second Scout, and the second half of Rae.

Discuss.
Statement of Intent VIP / Sahaquiel v4 single out now on UK Trends.

I think a few of the tracks from Tri Repetae / Anvil Vapre might fit nicely into a dubstep mix. Also, the end of the first tune from the Garbage EP might be worth looking into.

Second Peng is easily the most associated with this, and I do believe I have a Dubstep remix of the song somewhere within the abyss of my computer.

But yeah, Second Peng, Cipater, Further, Gescom's Key Nell 4...There's just loads.
