Distance is Greg Sanders, a British dubstep producer and dj. His debut album entitled 'My Demons' was released on Planet Mu in 2007. Also that year he started his own stables, Chestplate Recordings.

Be aware that Sessions will run officialy for one (1) week per producer. After that it's up to the producer if he'll continue answering questions.

Wicked! Your Repercussions album is sick, especially the Radical & Battle Sequence tunes. Just a few generic questions...

1) When did you start making music, and what got you interested?

2) Are there any special effects and processes you tend to apply to you dark reece style basses like the tune radical?

3) How long on average do you spend on making a track?

Is the guitar-driven tunes you playing and a recording real guitar or do you use a VST or synth patch?

Whats your favourite track you've made and why?

You've worked quite closely with Cyrus(another one of my favourite producers) recently haven't you? How have your two creative processes complimented eachother?

Who do you respect in the world of Dubstep?

Have you ever looked to film scores for inspration? I get that feel from a lot your tracks, they have that epic essence!

Will you be making dubstep or whatever it evolves into for a long time or are you looking forward to other projects, maybe more tradition style of music making?

what range of genres do u take influence from outside of dubstep?

) , how did you do all the filter automation? Is it all recorded live or are you programming it? what synth/filter was it?

will your remix of one blood, one source ever be released? its wickly haunting, deep tune.

in terms of producing your albums, how was making repercussions different from doing my demons? did you enjoy the process less/more for either one?

I stand corrected. It was Scorn in Napalm Death. Still the metal influence is obviously there right?

Big ups to Distance, Traffic & Fallen are both HHUUUUGE tracks.

I was wondering, what percentage of your own tracks are you really proud of. Do you ever worry about the music release and how it may be received?

big up for this, im a big big fan of your music

1 - what metal bands are you into?

2 - what was it about dubstep that made u want to be involved?

3 - if u diveded making a track into percentages of the time it took you to write it, what would they be?

for example 10% arrangement , 30% mixing down ect...

^^^ if that makes any sense

and your drums sound absoultly amazing in all of your tracks, they sound so real. big up on that

You blates seem to take influence from the metal/hardcore genre... why do you think that metal influences work so well in dubstep? Is it just the pure filth factor? Or is it about the energy? Or plain and simply just about the geeeetars? I'd like to hear your views on what you think the connection is....if anything...please
