new to the board- hardcore junglist converted

Post by ms hathaway » Fri Sep 15, 2006 1:06 pm

just wanted to say hello to everyone. i am/was a jungle dj for years and id say over the past few years ive grown well tired of the stuff thats been coming out on that front. i have just recently been turned on to dubstep and im already head-over-heels obsessed. my fingers cant download mixes fast enough.

glad i found this website, its an invaluable resource.

once i know this music better i look forward to lively debates with all of you.

cheers

jess

Welcome ms hathaway, your fine with me with that avatar, definitely appreciate that scene from that film lol

on a more serious note, be interesting to get your point of view of some of our dnb releases as you have got bored with current day dnb...

the turn its taken in general has just soured me to the whole business, not to say that some good tunes are not still coming out here and there, just that the majority has gone down the toilet, and of course thats just my humble opinion.

no personal offense intended if you are putting out dnb. where can i go to give your tunes a listen?

None taken at all and i totally agree with you , i really dislike modern day dnb except the niche that myself and a few other labels are part of spear headed by inperspective, bassbin etc. If you go to the temp site theres clips on there (www.immerserecords.com).

We do also love our dubstep, variety is the spice of life!
