Big up RSD!!!

Ive made a point to score all his releases, even though it can be difficult living in Canada. Even that remix of 'Answer' on 2kings. So tight.

Keep makin em', and Ill keep playin em'

Pretty Bright Light deserves its own wankathon thread imo, tune is just silly good. First heard it in Bristol and everyone just stopped pretty much and went 'what the fuck is this?'

Badderman producer.

I'm sure many of you have them already, but for those who don't, I thought I'd just give the heads-up to fellow RSD appreciators that a couple of Rob Smith 12s circa 2006/7, are still available through seller Fun3937 on Amazon, which is the shop for Functional Records on the site.

They are 'Give Love' and 'Loveage'.

The reason I mention it on here is because the style is very similar to the slightly later RSD releases, though the rhythm is a little more breaks in construction.

For anyone interested in getting them at a good price (£3-£4) as opposed to paying silly money on e-bay or discogs in a few months time, here's the link:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/shops/storef ... JO82LTMB1A

Great couple of tunes, got mine today!

Yarse, got Loveage when I still played breaks, maybe the last breaks tune I ever bought as a matter of fact!

'Accepted' and 'On deck', goodness: can be found on various Forensics mixes (check www.barefiles.com). Also, little heard 'herbman hustle'. Personal hangover favourite: Depend-lovas off the firewall EP (which can be found on RSD's myspace). There's an interview with RSD on www.highriseclothing.com

Check his production skills on the Henry and Louis 'Increments' CD, on 2 Kings. I'm told Rob Smith is a really humble guy who is very passionate about his music. Perhaps these are some of the reasons he's a Bristol stalwart.
