chaoticpulse - nemesis(1st dubstep tune)
hello dubstepers,
i'm more used to produced drum n bass, but this time i have tried to make a dubstep tune, there's some dub elements but overall it's rather dark so here it is

or

any feedback will be grantly appreciated

It's very well put together, but the sounds a bit too digital, seems way too clean and sort of over produced. That evil laughing bassline when it comes in pretty good, but it doesn't quite gel with the sub and the sub sounds a bit too low in volume. The weight of the tune's thrown off by too much snare business, maybe try and bring that in now and again for effect as it doesn't really add energy when the rest of the tune's quite heavy.
The actual sub bass and drum groove sound like a good hip hop loop in itself, I think there's too much going on though, needs a bit more space and time to develop.

Hmm....

@fullyrecordingz: i knew it wasn't really dubstep,, but thanks for the new genre comment, wish it could be true
@shonky: about the mixdown, i should try to have a better bass management, to make this glue nicely, and maybe rearrange the whole tune to make a bit more minimalistic at some point
thanks for your comments, i appreciate them a lot

@narcossist: yes i haven't get my head around the dubstep syncopation, i will listen, i haven't planned to put a break in this one, but i can't help myself i have a too present dnb background
@deepthought: yes it sounds a lot like my dnb tunes but with a different tempo, i suppose i can't deny my influence
