the dark stuff???

Post by ms hathaway » Mon Sep 18, 2006 3:32 pm

bear in mind that im new to all of this, so be kind :)

i recently purchased a double cd pack by someone/s named Vex'd. its rather dark dubstep, and i really like it.

id like to know of anyone else who has made some dark tunes like this, and if they are available on cd, mp3 or record. my goal is to collect as much as possible on vinyl, so as to pursue playing it out, but im happy with just listening to it also

thanks in advance all

A lot of the Hot Flush records stuff is quite dark. Artists like Scuba, Luke Envoy, Elemental and Search and Destroy.

Seconded on Search & Destroy and Luke Envoy. Check out Protocol X as well.

Some Boxcutter is on a darker tip too. ("Brood", "Tauhid"...)

milanese definately desrves a mention. his new album is pretty grim. n his remix of virus syndicates deadman walking is positively obsidian.

don't wanna be a cocky tnuc but i dabble in the black arts myself
