Funky/House/Old School 2 Step influenced tune

Post by mondays child » Sat Feb 14, 2009 12:00 pm

This was also posted over in the production section, it's not really Dubstep as such, it's more influenced by Garage legends like Wookie/M J Cole/X Men than anything else.

It's got a nice summery vibe, summat a bit warmer for the bleak winter months.

Any thoughts would be great.

cheers all.

nice production on this one mate but i can't help but feel that some of the vocal samples are a little bit out of time

Cheers mate, i know what you mean, i chopped the audio up in Logic and moved it about untill it sounded ok, it neeeds putting into my sampler realy to get it all on point, the tune took about 4 hours to put together and is the first rough version/mix.

I think it's got some potential, a few brakedowns and some tweaks here and there should do the trick.

Cheers for the feedback tho. Nice one.
