what is your personal favourite DMZ release? HARD QUESTION!!

Post by dubfama » Mon Feb 16, 2009 9:51 am

i dont even know if i can answer this myself?!!!

001-004 are the only ones that arent in our house..

i am tempted to say goat stare/root

after that it is a stalemate between mud/ruffage, antiwardub/haunted, leftlegout/bluenotez and leanforward/learn..

but tommorow i may well say something different.. they are all amazing to be honest definately the greatest label set the standard for forward thinking dubstep for the SOUNDSYSTEM (alongside deep medi of course)
:)

Tricky...
I'm gonna say lean forward, but on another day i could easily have said left leg out / blue notez or haunted / antiwar dub

think this thread has been done, but i would go for left leg out/blue notez. I love both sides heaps, where as most other releases have a good side and a not as good side for me:)

I still think blue notez is a banger! but the best release has to be haunted and anti war dub, even if it was the least rarest dmz I would still say it is supreme!

ye blue notez is fkn INTENSE the little build up halfway through the tune where everything apart from that eerie synth drops out and builds up to the second drop. gives me butterflies every time..

Was my first thought, Horrorshow's my favourite dubstep track ever.

Anti War Dub/ Haunted's gotta be a contender too.

But on balance I think my favourite release is 001. So influencial, so good....
