I'd agree with Butterz.
I've seen Tomb Crew play numerous times and they always get the dancefloor moving regardless of what night it is.
They've got a good eclectic mix and are safe guys too.

I can never fault a person/collective who get money.
The amount of bookings they get equals money & a good life, touring around europe playing music. This is a life that everyone of us would love to lead. Imagine the pussy.
But at the same time - I think they have no integrity or real skill behind the decks/software. One of them can mix, the other 2/3 are not really on point, need a few more years in the bedroom. The tune selection is not really my kind of thing either. Its very 'scene' orientated, playing tunes which the majority like. Its accessible music, if you go to one of their sets youll know 75% of the beats they play whether you like dubstep, niche, grime, garage, dnb, indie.. whatever.
These sets are something that anyone could do. Its not really something worthy of respect in itself. I think the whole matching T-shirt and wonky new era cap thing is played out too. If dress sense represented musical style then tomb crew certainly stay true to theirs. Im not one to watch every other man like a fashion show/gok wan type of guy, but some things just stick out like a sore thumb.
At the end of the day though, whilst some of us may not like what they do nor do we respect their artistry there are plenty of people who do. So I wish them all the best and hope they continue on their road to success!

Agreeing with most people, not the best of mixers in the biz.. but they do know how to get a crowd pumped and some of there mixing is top notch stupidintheface mixing. They also get there hands on some filthy tunes.
They dropped some ill remix of Eastern Jam @ NYE Detonate... it wasn't the V.I.P or High Rankin.. Or Mr Snowman's.. but it was fookin sick! Been craving to hear it / find some more info on it since.. but to no avail
Anyone shed some light?

I saw them at Dot to Dot last year and they were pretty good fun. Nothing particularly suprising, though, I know what the person above means about playing the three bassline tunes that everyone's going to know, the three dubstep tunes that everyone's going to know, half a dozen speed garage tunes everyone's going to know, some classic jungle tunes that even you're grandma thinks are 'pretty rinsed' etc - it kind of felt like most people who pay any attention to dance music could have replicated most of the set with twenty minutes on soulseek and an iPod shuffle. Dunno if that's representitive or not.
Having said that, I'm carping a bit and I'm never going to be entirely pissed off to hear Original Nuttah on a system...

they played at Trouble & Bass last year and absolutely tore the roof off. nice mix of dubstep and wierd glitchy funky house, and then the whole second half of their set was pure old school amen ragga jungle. and trouble & bass is NOT a jungle party. everyone brocked out
straight fire
