Dubstep + Rap?

Post by borrowed » Fri Feb 20, 2009 1:26 am

Is it just me or is this a damn good sound? I heard a few with Slim Thug/Rick Ross (though I hate him) on dubstep.fm a few months ago, anyone got any more tracks?

Plus, there is always Benga - Back in the day, which is fucken amazing.

Vaccine has just completed a "signature Vaccine sound" WOW !! with the awesome Dan le Sac & Scroobius Pip

Scroobius Pip is a performance poet who adds politically intelligent raps, while Dan le Sac makes original electro/hip-hop productions

The track will feature as the starting blocks to this weekends EE show ... and my god, Vaccine really does excel with this trrack, fucking hell the bass, the production .. spot on .. and the lyrics ..haha !! wikiid !! 8)

Some top tunes on that player, the big one being 'sick as sin'

but there's something seriously awsome about that busta rhymes remix, serious ghetto crunk bass heaviness.

Yeah, that does sound damn good. Busta himself is an amazing rapper.

Rap & Dubstep can go together well although I hope to god Dubstep doesn't go the way of live Drum'n'Bass where emcees screech their tits off over the whole set. I love DnB but the emcees killed it live imo and I just stopped going to live shows altogether.

Personally I think Rap & Skweee go together better.
