my friend just played me this last night , thoroughly impressed. the original is one of my favorite aphex twin songs. absolutely brilliant .

they have a cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" on that same album which is haunting and psychedelic, pure genius from these guys

Bad Plus is my new favorite band

you literally would not believe how big a meme this is on a certain idm forum

it's, how shall i put it, the standard reply over there for when someone makes the equivalent to an "omg burial is will bevan! (or is he?)" thread, over here.

actually on the topic of aphex...does anyone know the name of a dnb track that sampled "z twig" from SAW volume II? heard it once ages ago on online radio, but didn't think to take down the name. i've been looking for it for bloody ages

flim plays on my NPR radio station all the time, but its local jazz after. So A Bad Plus plays often. So great. Alarm Will Sound is a group that plays classical versions of Aphex songs, check them out.

the bad plus are AWESOME

they have an entire covers album out there, the name surpasses me at the moment and i can't be arsed to go look for it.

I think they did a Nirvana cover on Jools Holland also.

Good to see people are feeling this
