Hip Hop Albums Recreated in Lego Format

Post by kins83 » Tue Feb 24, 2009 5:30 pm

This is a few months old, but I hadn't seen it posted on here.

Some pretty good ones, but my favourite has to be Method Man and Redman's Blackout (which is a sick album too):

HAHA FUCK YES THA ALKAHOLIKS.

Shoulda done Coast II Coast which is one of my all time favorite albums.

Edit: I don't really "like" any except for Violent By Design, though. I mean, it's largely just lego men replacing the rappers in the photographs, that's sorta lame. At least in the Violent By Design one they made it entirely from lego, the rest is just.. meh. Anyone with some spare time and no artistic direction could've done that.

Yeah that coz lego men are inherently camp. I think it's to do with the way their arms are positioned

Yeah, like, the Midnight Marauders one had mad potential if they'd made the frame and the person in the middle entirely out of lego too. Should've picked some album covers that could've worked with nothing but lego instead. The lego guys could've been anything, like.. action figures, which completely defeats the purpose of using lego guys in the first place.
