Albino LFO??

Post by drake6 » Wed Feb 25, 2009 1:11 am

Is there a way to change the LFO frequency while in sync? For example 1/1-1/4-1/16 with a controller?

in FL, you just adjust the setting, click the button in the top left corner of the vst, and hit "last tweaked paramater > create automation clip"

i dunno about other DAWs but i imagine its similar

perhaps browse through all parameters that can be automated until you find that one and make a clip for it

Cool, I'm using Ableton, but have been looking through the parameters to try and control the lfo speed with the sync on, so it sticks with the tempo.
I'll keep looking:)

yeah, also, you could just automate the speed of the lfo and find which points are at the specific speeds you are looking for, and automate to those points, you could do some cool freestyle shit inbetween those points too to make some wierdness

dont always just use sync in other words lol

Some one posted a tip to get it working in ableton a few weeks ago.
In the mod matrix assign modulation wheel to lfo speed. If you have a midi keyboard the mod wheel will now change the speed in sync or you could draw the automation into the clip using midi cc no 1
