can't really go wrong with either, both good mixers.

But to not really make things any easier, I'd probably go with an A&H Xone 32. It's 3 channels and has a really sweet filter on it with great controls.

ecler's are great, high-quality components and nice layout.

This! Beautiful mixers to use also, but I guess that's just an Allen & Heath thing ;)

You could pick up a 2nd hand Pioneer DJM 600 for around £300 I reckon.

Urei, Ecler, and A&H's sound quality shit all over the Pioneer's. Pioneer = all hype.

i think the sound quality of rane and ecler are on par w/ a&h; rane wins w/ the crossfader though, a&h w/ the 4-band eq and LFO filters, and ecler w/ all around build quality.

if $ wasn't an option i'd go with the a&h-- because it's not black! seriously-- so much easier to see in a dark club.

though if you use serato, the 57 is an unbelievable tool... and it better be, for $1200.

I say go for a rane, then you don't need another one . . .
The empath got 3 cannels and a wicked effectloop that is really easy to use.
Means you can get the effect processor that suits your needs and sound what you want.

The sound is next level!!!

Depending on what you're using it for, Numark's new line of mixers are built well with nice knobs and faders and are quite cheap. I had a numark for many years and lugged it all over the place. For home use, I think you'll be hard pressed to find something better in that price range.
