i was debating whether to share this or not but fuck it.
this is so simple.
just for the people who dont know. i worked this out last night.
open albino 3
load up a sine wave on one of the digital OSC
turn the spread up bout an 1/8 of the way up
turn the octave down to -1
play note a2
sound the same as the sub high contrast uses.
audio exsample:

Is the sine-sub quality higher in Albino than M? Just curious. Will probably get it anyway...

It really depends on what else do you have on your track. And bouncing down takes your midi control away, which should be maintained till the final mixdown.

Doesn't matter how old your computer is, you don't need to use something as powerful, or expensive as Albino to create a sine wave.

Are you not making the sine wide stereo by spreading?
If so personally I dont think thats a great idea for your mixdown. Sines are always best in mono i find to avoid phasing and loosing weight on a rig......

In Logic you can stick a gain unit last on the FX chain and set it to mono. Not sure about othe DAWs, but I do agree with sub being mono. The only thing in a track I keep stereo are pads, snares & fx.
