that tune is pretty good, but by istari lasterfahrer standards it could have been much deeper
i love his "charged 4 ganja", "inner city fear", "breakbeat potpouri", "love style", "i toke a policemans girl", "love style",...
the track is good but he's got much deeper stuff than this.
the looking of the record is funny though.

yeah, its been a while but they always do free shows in parks up there for charity - they rarely play out, but its always free when they do. absolutely amazing live. highly recommended.ms hathaway wrote:id imagine living in dc you still have opportunities to see them play, no? i am also going to listen to this when i go home.
is that more dubstep-tempo material?Pablex wrote:that tune is pretty good, but by istari lasterfahrer standards it could have been much deeper

other than that pink tune i only know his breakcore-esque stuff
charged 4 ganja and inner city fear are pretty old school influenced jungle tracks with awesome old reggae samples, you really should check them out (as a matter of fact i think you can find charged4ganja on his site http://istari.sozialistischer-plattenbau.org/ ), breakbeat potpouri is a more '94 hardcore influenced track, not only by sound but also by samples again, love style is a rather fast breakbeat track with i think barrington levy vocals ("yes while i'm young i wanna have some fun"..)elgato wrote:is that more dubstep-tempo material?Pablex wrote:that tune is pretty good, but by istari lasterfahrer standards it could have been much deeper

you can find i toke a policemans girl on http://www.m-a-s-h.be/ (first release), again a bit hardcore breakcore, one of his better tracks imo.
i heard some downtempo stuff of him but never stuff that sounded like it was influenced by dubstep, i think the N.American "scene" is more influenced by that (think of Aaron Spectre mixing it up in his sets or dj C bringing out productions in different styles)
