in reason, what is important to use to make tracks sound like professional, ive just started mucking about with compression, EQ and unison but i dont know the ins an outs
was wondering if u cud shed sum light on the matter?
i think the thing is to get a track sounding tight as before u start fucking about with compression and that, the key to it is a good mix down, making sure none of the elements sound harsh or fatiguing, even if you are trying to make mental noises. basically i recommend turning it up as loud as you can get away with while making tunes so u can source out the causes of problems. altho saying this, some things can sound completely different on monitors to how they do on a big rig, so its a process of trial and error really.

i tend to play about a lot, use ones that dont get used often, i will usually have a sine running alongside whatever i got for sub. if you put an electronik and pwm wave together on the malstrom you can have some fun.

not really, i am thinking of dropping the mask, altho i went to do a show in london without it the other week and chickened out which left me a bit worried that i cant actually dj in front of large crowds without it
