fuck that off! I will never go to a tinseltown ever again. They take the piss with their prices and they can't even do simple milkshakes properly + management in two of them i've been to have treated customers like shit

Ooh, where abouts? I just moved there. Mangal for Turkish is pretty good.

Also, disappointed nobody's talked about the African food in LDN yet. It's pretty good. African Kitchen Gallery, Asmara, 805. All pretty fantastic.

Rasa on church St is good. http://travel.ciao.co.uk/Rasa_Stoke_New ... n__6392860 It says vegetarian but there is another one just up the rd that does meat.

person who knows.

Mirch Masala on Commercial Road is also nice, albeit in more of a cheap and cheerful way.

Basically, though, if you can't find nice cheap food in london with a bit of effort then you don't deserve to eat well.

If you're in south London then go to Lambert's in Balham. I Balham doesn't leap to the front of your mind for great food, but this place is seriously next level.

http://www.hardens.com/ is your bible, don't ever eat out without checking it first.

although camberwell's a bit of a shithole there's a fucking quality italian place called carravagio's, i've been there several times, great service, huge portions, proper nice food and it's insanely cheap, like a huge seafood paella will be 5 quid. highly recommended, it's always very full tho.

Not sure if there's an official champ, but try The Golden Hind on Marylebone Lane (just off Marylebone High St - nearest Tube is Bond St)... it's fucking AMAZING and you can sit in and take your own drink. Me and a mate have sat in there with a bottle of vodka and a bottle of coke, mixing up in their glasses before!

But they don't do battered sausage.....
