Cool Ableton Live trick I never knew.....

Build a bunch of midi clips, freeze the midi track and drag the frozen midi clips in an audio track, then BOOM.....the midi clips will automatically bounce to audio clips. :)

freeze then flatten and it turns the midi channel into an audio channel. also saves the resulting audio clip in a seperate folder. not just for midi to audio either. find as sample whack loads of effects on it then flatten that and hey prestro you got the audio clip with the effects frozen into it

i'm a hardcore pro tools user and have been a casual ableton user, but getting into it big time recently and finding that it might soon be my main weapon of choice. this bit of information is making the process go even quicker. ableton is full of awesome shit

That's exactly why it's recommended to do a bit of RTFM once you get the hang of the software, you can learn so much, and see how stupid you were doing things the hard way for a long time.

reading is long....and my eyes go all weird when i read and the words go fuzzy after a while

That's dope. I had already used the frozen audio files, but never made it this way... damn simple.
