nights in toon (newcastle) are usually a bit shit ime, prefer london, less attitude and fuckwitted plastic alpha-males with an IQ of a house brick.

hmmmm
maybe ds is presently a briefly flaring fad,
momentarily big with the dilettantes.
whilst steppas await the reinvigoration,
perhaps thru stripping back to basics,
or absorbing a diff tip (funky, techno)
before going again....

It's fucking horrible in nottingham at the moment. As DID says detonate was rammed the other week for skream... too many dickheads. Saw ntype as well a couple of weeks before, people were packed in like sardines and i got shoved around too many times. I might be reading too much into it because of these last 2 experiences, but i'd say the crowd/vibe has changed a hell of a lot in the last few months. A friend of mine is getting pretty disillusioned because of it... would be a shame if some of the old heads started packing it in cos of the newer crowd

i'm from germany, there are no dubstep partys here and there is no real audience. maybe a small group in berlin, but the're not much people all over this country who listen to something else then extrem boring minimal techno in the clubs. they are all fucked up. techno killed their brains and their taste for good music.

^same in Canberra, Oz....
some dnb heads will listen to ds
but steppas?
yu could count 'em on one hand
(if yu were a mutant with 20 fingers)
It's great!
Might change when Seven gets a gig with the Crookeds.
If yu can get there in April,
it'll be seminal like lots of yu will remember.

Small, uncrowded scenes rock,
whatever dj/producers/entrepreneurs think.
