Ras Kass- Soul on Ice is one my my fave LP's
Kool Keith- needs no explaination
Redman- First 3 LPs were dope
Nas - just for Illmatic.
Ice Cube- his early solo stuff was amazing.

most of the time it's what they have to say for me. and out of the whole pile of junk out there these are my favorite. and yes pete rock is nice imo i always like when the producer/dj gets down... madlib, j dilla, alchemist, tony touch come to mind as well. obv he's not the best mc but he's my fav in that category.

i've got a list of 10 more mcs that i havent seen and are def worthy of mention... i think someone said sadat x already (edit* - nobody did). big up for jeru as well.

lil wayne??
