Truth is Ketamine and Dubstep do go well together. That's not to say they do always go together or even should go together but I remember the first time coming back from Escape In The Park a few years back and the reaction on everyone in the mini bus when Mary Anne Hobbs came on the radio. It's true that Ketamine wasn't the only drug in everyones system but it was probably the most prevalent. Yes people in K Holes look like twats, same as people who have taken too many pills and those who have drunk too much. You do a little bit it makes you feel good, you do too much it's bye bye for a bit. The only problem is its easier to take too much Ketamine because of the small amount first time users need to K hole. I tend to stay away from it now as everything is dangerous and bad for your health if you keep taking it on a regular basis, besides I live in Cardiff and it's just not as common here as say Bristol, which to be fair is getting less and less useage from the drug these days. People start to get bored of any drug after a while, part of the enjoyment is the all new experiences and feelings they can bring on, once you've had enough of that it's only really the addicts who are left, and an addict can't lay all the blame on the drug alone.

The way I see it, the more ketamine heads at dubstep nights, the more 'Take me to your dealer' tins I will be able to steal off the floor at the end of the night.

there is something about dubstep that attracts k heads. tbh i cant be arsed with k (shit drug) or most k heads, but i understand why it seems to go with dubstep.

but rather trippy stuff anyday - more about acid, mushies and the like than shitty k imo.

They're too late. It's already been ruined by the influx of moshers, nu-rave kids, trendies, chavs, pill monsters, emo kids, internet neeks, ginger people, opera fans, teddy boy revivalists etc etc cf dubstepforum passim. It's also the first genre ever to be simultaneously too fast and too slow.

wow, some of the these replies are FUCKING retarded!

no drug has ever killed off a scene, regardless of how great the drug is or how shite the scene in question is.

What kills a scene is snobbery, it's the sort of musical protectionism that makes people say, "K ruins dubstep nights" and "Chavs ruin DnB raves".

What you've got to accept at a rave of any kind is that you're not in your living room with a cup of tea and a fucking paper, youre in a rave! with strangers, some of whom may be taking drugs, some of whom won't be, some of whom may be be doing things you condone and some not.

you don't have to feel one hundred percent comfortable with everything around you to have fun, shit, having real fun is all about fucking with the things that make you comfortable. I don't take K at raves, i rarely take drugs at all but if someone is getting filthy at a rave, who the fuck am I to be like, "Oh, you're too fucked, take a seat and sober up mate."
Thats like him turning to me and saying "Oh look how fucking sober you are you pussy, get a few of these down ya' and stop being such a cigarette."

safe
