Wobbly Bass Please

Post by overdose » Wed Sep 27, 2006 9:11 pm

Hello. I'm all about the Dubstep sound and have been infected for quite some time. However, what I really love are the crazy, wobbly, upfront basslines. I notice that most of the mixes or the few Dubstep CD's that I own tend to have the wobbly basslines, but some aren't wobbly enough or upfront enough. What I'm getting at is this: can anyone recommend me some Dubstep tracks that have this wobbly craziness, such as the Pinch track on the new Planet Mu compilation, or some mixes that highlight this aspect? I know these tracks or hopefully whole mixes are out there, because I hear a few of these tracks once in a while in the mixes and CD's that I do listen to. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

i like that sentence

the daddy of wobble for me is Digital Mystikz - Ancient Memories (Skream Remix)

but also excellent (off the top of my head)...

pinch - qawwali vip
plasticman - shockwave (v hard to find tho)
vex'd - third choice (only a little wobble, but one of the tightest ive heard)

its funny, ppl always talk about it being the archetype, but when you think about it there arent as many as you might initially think
