Dropped this at the Rough Hill student night @ OnAnon in Soho to about 800 pissed-up party people last night, and girls were rushing up to the booth wanting to know what it was, and one of the management complained it was 'a bit moody'
lol, hope I haven't disrespected dubstep by playing this out in the West End!
big up Skream and Elly on this one
Z1
ps. Jayou's Lily Allen Remix smashed it as well!

Gutted I missed this but a week late... asking for it tbh! Big track though, heard it recently on the Mishka.

(I haven't read the entire thread yet so..) Is there any news on more being pressed?

not to offend anyone, but i f'ing hate this laroux - in for the kill (skream remix). I personally think its one of skreams worst songs. I dont understand why everyone likes it so much. Its really boring (i listened to the myspace version, if theres a longer version that gets better, please tell me) and her voice pisses me off. Skream is a good chap, but im not gonna say i like this song just because its by skream - i think he has done many better songs than this.

If I'm being honest I think someone's ripping us off. Skream comes on here saying there's only 500 copies being pressed and various websites sell the whites for £9 which add to the impression of rarity and exclusivity, hoping everyone will go out and buy them. Then some big shot label sticks them on general sale for a lot less. Takes the piss somewhat, but i suppose it was necessary to recoup the money lost on digital sales.

pretty sure the polydor release is a 7" though

edit- and car shaped, so not exactly a dj friendly release

Its almost like they've given a release to the different genres of fans. The record collectors (ie. dubstepforum members) then to all the indie kids (car shaped vinyl). Wonder if there's gunna be any more...

when you say 'car shaped vinyl', what do you mean? do you mean the actual disc isnt circular but instead in the shape of a car??

I'm guessing the 7" record is circular, but theres just bits sticking out of the side that resemble a car that extend to under the 12" of the turntable, and its a picture disc of a car. Pretty gimicky shit that has nothing to do for the tune but whatcher gonna do
