what sample/bit rate do you guys work in?

I do 24 bit, 44.1. That's what i always send it off at for mastering too. Then my guy sends it back at 16 bit for easy burning at my end (he offers up to 32 bit though) If you do all your processing at 24 bit there is less degradation in general.

Here's a tip.

If you want to record higher quality than 44.100, don't use 48,000. Use a multiple of your sample rate which will give you a nicer sound when dithering down for CD (aka for 44,100, record/mix at 88,200 or 176,400 as opposed to 48, 96 or 192)

^ old wives' tale and not true.

And dither relates to bit-depth reduction, not sample rate conversion. 'Downsampling' would be the word

how do i check/change sample rate? i am using ASIO4ALL... my outs seem to be at 24bit/192 is this coo
