I've done that, except it was in a half full can of beer that people and probably myself had been using as a ashtray - nasty shit

Moved back in with the parents this weekend, back to a single bed in a cold house in the middle of fucking no-where, back to work today after a week off which was spent moving and cleaning, feel bolloxed tired and like my life just took a big jump backwards.

awww elbe, i feel you, it totally sucks - i've just done exactly the same thing and am trying to figure out if i'm going to be able to use acute insanity as my future defense plea in court....

to be fair - the bed is about half a foot wider than a single bed, but there's only about a foot of living space round two edges and it's in a tiny flat with my mum. We could organise an exchange program? :D

lol, tempting, althought the acute insanity line makes me suspicious.....

hopefully it won't be for long, 2/3 months tops, need to get away from this area so looking for jobs, then I can fuck off.

neiner :( i should be in vanpoover right now  sucky company only went and revoked the job offer without any warning (after i'd booked flights, got the canadian work permit, handed in my notice, organised international shipping etc..... didnt even so much as offer me as much as £20 in compensation for it or give me any warning anytime we spoke). It's been almost 2 years in the making that and now it's kinda on its head. Thank fuck i got my job back though or i'd be a lot more than just miffed....!!! Had already rented my flat out - hence the move to mum's spare room....at least this way i get to pay off some of the debt the non-existent job move cost me

There's no jobs in vancouver now cos they're being hit really hard atm, so i guess that'll have to wait a few more years. Looking for work in California now to join brad - 6000mile relationships are NOT the one! However, I'm just starting to experience the sheer hell that is the visa system in the US and realise that actually it would be a hell of a lot easier if i just sell myself as a mail order bride to the highest bidder....

ah shit, sorry to hear that, pricks, could have really fucked things up for you, glad to hear you got your job back tho.

6000 mile relationships def not the one, tho prehaps a loveless marriage might not help to much either? lol.

hehe yeah your totally right elbe - and he is worth every wonderful frustrating second - just being whiney cos we should be in the same timezone now and able to visit at weekends and now it looks like that'll have to wait another year.... so it's back to transatlantic romance..... i should get richard branson to sponsor us

of course the big irony is: now that i've gone and rented my flat out, i may actually come out of this recession in the black for the first time in 10 years

i always have to do everything backwards

Getting a nice new office chair which will hopefully mean I'm no longer making myself a cripple 9-5 only to find it's got BARELY ANY PADDING AND HAS ALREADY MADE MY ARSE GO DEAD.

Fuck chairs.

FUCK CHAIRS.
