It truly is the end of an era. The man inspired so many, and made us all take a good long look at our productions. If it wasn't for him, no one would have stepped up their game. This scene owes him alot, the guy is an institution and will be sorely missed.
So many great tunes, all of epic quality and absolutely timeless. Mans an absolute G and one of the most humble guys i have ever met.
Big up yourself Dam and all the best for the future - always 3 steps ahead

music shall be played for years and years to come, where as most of
this dubstep stuff has a life of about few months at most...

ok ok he's not dead!
but still - awesome producer, my favourite stuff of the decade no doubt.
i too am intrigued about what he's up to now - i got passed a CD with about 14 toasty tracks on it back in about 2005 i guess. always thought it would do well being released just as a downbeat/'listening' album, just wholesale - it always seemed to me that the fact that some of his stuff was pretty dancefloor was just a coincidence in some ways...
anyway. sick tunes

Why does this thread have the eerie tone of a eulogy?!
For real though, Toasty's Guesswork was quite possibly the first tune I bought of dubstep/breakstep. And it was a very big day the day that my copy of Knowledge, and most importantly Like Sun arrived in the post.
Like Sun, and more recently the phenomenal Candyfloss remix are easily in my Top 5 all time for the genre. Both tunes are peerless.
Thank you for your music Toasty. Like many here, I'm very keen to hear what you will be working on next.
This is sad news, but we wish you the very best. How about a toast, for Toasty?
*cheers*

Toasty, would there be any harm in finally releasing the mind-boggling "No Prisoners", as a parting gift for your loyal fans?
Even a digital would be most deeply appreciated.

This is kinda depressing tbh. It was Toasty's tunes that got me into dubstep in the first place. I hunted down everything I could find from him and it this began my dubstep collection. I am quite interested to hear what kind of music he is going make going forward tho. As long as there is music form the man rather than the name then the future doesn't look so bleak after all.
