Massive weekend!

For me, Friday hightlight was Appleblim. Great selector playing some real steppers anthems.

Saturday highlight was Unlikely and Kutz. Pure attitude!

Sunday hightlight was Mad Professor. Total stumbling-around-giving-everyone-a-hug music.

Venue was amazing. Having a massive water park on site took the experience to a whole new level.

Organisation was excellent overall.

Big up everyone I went with, especially Phletch. It's been too long since I've rolled with a raving crew like that.

A few points!!

1) Best Drink Up Ever
2) Best Venue Ever
3) Best Music Ever

Hold tight all the massive rolling on the floor of the amusement arcade headbutting teddybear machines on Sunday night.
To be fair, I couldn't understand why Bloc put all the Dubstep on one day, all at the same time. I saw your set on the telly the day after and thought "Fucks sake". I don't regret my desision to stay in the Tek Bloc, as them guys rinsed it, but I would've preffered a whole 2 days of stepping carnage.

Oh well!
What time was it on the telly?? I think the BBC recorded my set they are planning on airing it on 1Xtra apparently

Taking a lot of the flak, and a little of the plaudits is part of what I'm all about.....

**got really annoyed of hearing only the last 30 seconds of Modeselektor..

Great festival overall though!

They were wicked, good mix of styles and even some choice rnb. Someone dropped L-Vis' remix of Playing With Knives which sounded huge on that rig :o

I'm pretty sure Joker played longer than that. It just seemed like twenty minutes because it was such an amazing set. Best thing I saw on Friday and there was some heavyweight competition!

I would agree with the dubstep all being on one night being a bad thing except that I was only there for one night so it worked out pretty there for me!

Completely agree. Had never seen him before but he killed it. And that was despite being relatively sober, unlike most of the weekend

They were showing a 15 minute clip on Bloc TV. Saw it a couple of times on Saturday, morning and evening.

Wish I’d seen him. I saw him play in Bristol last year and he was amazing. Nobody should be able to get that bass sound out of a trombone.
