I ended up playing the opening set of the weekend which was jokes as i was already battered by 4 o clock Friday afternoon

in true bracket fashion i missed pretty much everything i wanted to see apart from Aphex & Hecker which was tuff as fuck. Would love to see the performance again somewhere smaller, just to appreciate the crazy sound manipulation they were doing...

Ceephax Karaoke was stoopid fun. The last things i saw and really enjoyed was my mate Lawrence aka Agent 2 play the sickest electro set right before Afrika Bambatta (who was truly appalling).

Carl Craig rounded the festival off nicely for me...

Best bloc yet imho

Oh my days. Still struggling quite hard, will probably take me a few more days to totally recover.

Don't know where to start. DJ Pinch probably played the set of the festival for me. Absolutely fucking amazing.

racket, I'm pretty sure I met you. And lost you before I managed to buy you that drink!

Yep. I had to shoot to my chalet to get some, er, supplies, and switched it on only to be looking at most of last nights Red Bloc set.

Sure I saw your set on TV the Sunday night at an afters once most of the arenas were shut but I reckon they were looping most of the sets throughout the day. Looked pretty wicked m8!

Highlights:

Altern8 - wicked vibes!
Busy P - Quality old school jungle set =) He even dropped Chopper lol
Aphex - W.T.F
Africa Bambaata - who thought I'd ever be dancing to madness or slim shady
Tipper - surround sound didn't work that well but was pretty quality apart from that!
2565/pinch
Rob Hall - one of the best techno sets i've heard for ages
FSOL, Papua New Guinea. Standardly went off.
ED Rush & Optical, absolutely sick! (I'll have to forgive them for dropping Pendulum at the end of their set :/)

Other things:

wasn't a fan of the mc's in the subloaded room on Friday, ruined some wicked sets imho
Loads of wobble
Didn't see SGT Pokes?
The amount of rewinds that kept getting pulled

BLOC TV deserves a mention. There was some sick shit going on in the early hours which I'm sure mangled many minds

I watched a program where a man turned into a wasp and flew out of the room.

It really shocked me.

Reckon BlocTV is some kind of fucked up social experiment. The effect of extreme imagery on heavily medicated subjects...

Apparently they showed Tokyo gore police, that made me feel wrong when i was sober :)

yeah saw some extremely disturbing stuff on there, we had to turn the tv off at some points due to people being genuinely frightened by what they were watching! saw some quality stuff on there though; egyptian lover interview about how much he loves the 808 was big
