there's another post going on about how this album should be in full 12inch length... I'm wondering.. should albums be released in both full and edited now that the internet has exploded for 320s n such....?

If i were to make an album I'd like to mold the whole album into a sound... if this meant editing stuff I would.

But then should I also push for a "DJ Friendly" version to be released separately? Or perhaps offer it just for online and vinyl purchasers.....

hmmmmmmmmmm

hhmmmm indeed

imo u lose a lot of the weight and feel of a track in an edited version, think the full buildup, drop, breakdown and outro add a lot to a track. altho i am a dj lol.

I'm not too fussed on having extended versions as I use Ableton so can do whatever I like with them.

For those using CDs, you can do it pretty easily and re-record the MP3.

Having listened to this a few more times, there are some nice tunes, but overall it's not worth purchasing the entire album. I expected more from a debut album.
