hahaha i know man you are two completely different prodcucers, but your tunes remind of me of some of the late 2005 early 06 coki stuff, and i cant put my finger on it! ahahJakes wrote:Thanks for the love but no one can replace Coki!trigga!!! wrote:ahh man that vip is too much! jakes has replaced coki for me when it comes to querky and original basslines that arent tooooo mental. if ya know what i mean!
large up jakes!
see where you're coming from - similiar fucked up zombie-ish vibe to "haunted" in some of jakes' productions - its that sense of how to make a tune really staggered and monged out but completely kill a dancefloor at the same time
both r totally unique tho in their own ways. everyone goes on about "wonky" but coki and jakes are the kings of wonky!

yeah man! really feeling the drums in in jakes newer productions. for example when i listen to the drums in rock the bells i keep picturing this pissed old bloke trying not to fall off the drum kit whilst trying to keep in time with the band! ahahhaReptilian wrote:coki and jakes are the kings of wonky!
really unique swing
