look, i own a 360 and mac, and i've used both fruity loops and logic extensively. Both games machines are fun and if you own one you're probably going to find some games you like on it, so if you're really going to get wound up about which adult toy is better than what other adult toy... go somewhere else. All you're doing is proving to me that you are the 13 year old i compared you to earlier.

You obviously never used fruity loops very well if you concluded logic was an upgrade and not a different thing entirely. Yeah, sure, Logic runs better, but then Ableton Live handles on machines even better than that, is that more professional? What about FLs pattern based input, the drum machine style interface, or the ability to quickly divide piano roll notes into equal parts? If you where going to write breakcore or glitchy-idm (or anything in that vien) stuff you would have a much easier time doing so in FL than in Logic. But then I still write glitchy stuff in Logic, so...?

conclusion: both programs are good, both computers are good, both consoles are good, stop with this stupid fanboyeurism bullshit
FL's pattern based input... You mean the one that's exactly the same to the step sequencer on Ultrabeat? I guess you haven't figured out how to use that yet...
Or maybe you wanted to do the multi-divide on the piano roll using the option key...

There's no argument here really, as you're trying to argue a case you're not winning in... Whether people are backing you up saying I'm being pathetic or not... AGAIN, I'm not saying Logic is better, I'm saying why would you want to use FL on a mac, when logic does everything FL does, and more.

Yeh that's fine... So in answer to the original post -
It's far less complicated if you either:
a) stick to FL on a pc
b) Move on to logic on a mac.

I don't see the point in doing anything other than these two options?

and I was just pointing out that it's not what you use, it's how you use it, using Skream as an example.

You'd be best off buying a second hand intel iMac, they are pretty cheap now but still very powerful and they run windows better than most PCs.
