sure chase & status can make some bangers here and there. Any DNB can take there various synth and basslines and put it in a halftime beat and AHA!!!

Unfortunantly Chase & Status doesn't truely know what dubstep is. Dubstep is more then just music now.

what the hell is fucking wrong with this forum. U do realise they had to make those synths in the first place? You do realise they have only released a handful of dubstep plates anyway, the majority of which are sick? Fuck this "here and there" bollocks ur spouting. I dont see people hating on Martyn for using over reverb'd vocal samples and some weird tecchy pad in every tune, or Mala for using pretty much the same bassline in every tune, or Coki for having all his wobble tunes start and breakdown in the same way. Honestly the list could go on and on and on and on for producers that use similar tricks in every tune. Did u realise a lot of Zero G / Benny Page tunes have a some kind of tribal vocal shouting on the 4th beat of every 2nd bar? Does that mean they should never do it again?
Everyone is just doing their thing, and a lot of people just happen to like Chase and Status' transition over into dubstep. For me Saxon is one of the absolutely most bonkers wobblers i've heard in a while.
I cant work out whether people actually form their own opinions on things or just tend to see what some of the more established members of the forum are saying and tagging along, certain producers are tagged as 'genius' as if they are pushing some kind of invisible sonic feckin boundary with every release, whereas others are being tagged as mainstream just because, well fuck, I dont even know why, they completely forged their own sound from the start.
This is bigger than you, me or even dubstep itself. Its about people going out and getting brock and having a great time. Get off your fucking dubstep plynth peeps

Apparently they're making a dubstep-soundtracked addition to the Friday The 13th series, in which the anti-hero gives up slaughtering and becomes a potato farmer.

It's called "Jason's 'Taters"

i've been saying that for ages, it's not a popular opinion but its true, something the anti-wobbler brigade don't like to admit.

not to say theres anything wrong with either of the two types, it's just a joke when people moan about trashy jump up tunes, then they go and listen to equally generic 'deep' stuff.

anyway, this thread needs more chase & status rhyming like that 'changing status' joke.

saxon is huge. Im also fed up of the heads banging on like they got some sort of musical superiority because they would rather listen to something deeper or more 'intellectual'.

Bangers are essential sometimes to electronic music generally and c&s do the job well.

oh!
c&s are doing dubstep now... might have a gander.

and pendulum... wow... stnuc.

and despite the fact that you can listen to a song over and over and not get bored of it when you keep hearing it out it detracts from the song. Partially because its not as much a secret anymore and also you know that people will start to annoy you by singing it to you non-stop. or going on about how they love that artist, when in reality they only know one song by them.

and i just can't stand it when i tell people to listen to something, only to have them come up to me and say "i heard this song last night its such a tune, check it out". lo and behold its what i told them to listen to.

rant over.
Drubstep anyone?

Fuck you bumz! Chase and status produce club bangers they did with their DnB as well. Just cuz its accesible and dancefloor frindly doesnt make it crappy. If you like deeper stuff listen to Synkro or Mala if you want tear-out bangers listen to C&S or Rusko or the Others. I personally like it all.

C&S are making money doing what they love give em a break.

But Snoop Dogg millionaire was shitty, very shittty

and if your sick of hearing eastern jam whereever you go then tell the DJ whos playing it off, C&S just produced the track its the hundreds of DJs playing it out that made it popular
