Here's my new track. --I've been focused on subrythmic microedits and twistin breaks, and forgettin about any rules i made before.
It's sorta like a 2step, halfstep, grimey electronic mashup of genres amped up on 20,000 volts and ready for vengence  :!: lol
Get ready :!:

bass sounds really muddy on my system - sounds like too many notes at once, or some kind of really fast LFO on it. would also rather the claps and snares stood out more - need to be more prominent in the mix. when the clip goes into silence at the end, i think it would be sick if it then came back in again really hard. would probs sound quite effective. also at the moment the tune doesn't seem to have a focus. if someone asked me what fully - sibilant sounded like, i wouldn't really be able to tell them. liking that vocal stuff you have on your myspace mind.

nah it dont have a hook yet does it, and the bass is muddy yeh, and the claps and snares seem to float above the mix, u can tell im not that technical when it comes to those sida things. but i reckon the beat is ill still. anyway im workin on it so if you've got any tips on muddy bass i posted a question 4 that in the production bit. safe and safe parson. anymore?

to solve muddy bass just generally make your sub synth / sample monophonic - ie it can only play one note at a time.

Take the reverb off your sub... don't use reverb on subs... make the sub mono and eq out all the bass frequencies from the other sounds. The sub is way too muddy, but apart from that it's cool :)

this sounds a little like an intro to me.. quite a long intro. i was expecting the drop to happen right around the point where it ended.

possible idea:

consider turning this into an intro, maybe chopping ~30secs out of it if needs be. work on the sickest most earth shattering bass tone ever to grace your bass cones. now re-develop a way way starker, more minimal (way less percussion, way way fatter drum hits) take on that beat you've got in the intro. next hook that stark break up with a monster bassline created using this aforementioned sick ass bass tone.. drop this in with a nice 1 beat 'breath intake' type pause .. a sort of maximal, warm, complex to utter cold stonkin beefcake floor killer contrast :D

clip was better fully. you've got this little buzzing mid range kinda sound on top of your sub though, that kinda disturbs the mix
