(haven't read the whole thread)

i do see what he's saying but that is the most self-endulgent wanky way he could have possibly expressed it, which is a shame because it's kind of a cool concept - essentially, that Eno needs more bass.

the whole point of a forum disscussion, if we wernt allowed 2 comment or NOT understand, therd b no use for this forum, and anybody who critisises slightly on here nowdays gets shot down in flames

i take your point but this seems to be particularly true of this thread. my comment was supposed to mean that this could just go on for ever.

and no one's even taken issue with your right to comment and criticise so i find it odd you bring this up. and regarding what you say, it's simply not true. i'm one of the key advocates of consctructive critism on this forum and have started many threads to encourage engaged discussions.

curse you ben! i wanted to make that joke.

orwell said that writing should be clear like a window pane. he was right, but no more right than, say, will self, or anyone else who uses the complexity, dexterity and depth of language to full, poetry-in-prose effect. they're just different styles, and one is as valid as another.

large up the nine.

Gotta love double standards, especially when they're as fucking blatent as this. Not even sure why you brought it up, who's told you you're not allowed to give your opinion?

Haha it allmost seems like its a complete pisstake, allthough I cant believe that much would have gone into it if it was, maybe its just too far over my head;
Aquassassin. Hyper-C frog-warrior.??

Amma (AMusement MAtrix). Maya Technologies' artificial yogic intelligence, whose informatic 'siddhis' constitute the virtual components of a cosmic theme park.
Death Garage. Sonic subgenre characterized by (loud) Swarm-beats.
MMbo-Jumbo!. Y2K data-devastation.
Warp. Region of Djynxx.
It always seems like a bit of mistake over contextualising art, either it does something or it doesn't it shouldnt need explanation through words, thats another medium, allthough I really like kode9's tunes so he can do whatever the fuck he wants really.

Think you guys missed out - he's being post-ironic in an urban soundscape milieu.

Or is that what's already been said - don't really understand this artwank gobshitery. Maybe they could discuss it on Late Review.

I do know that most music that I've bought on a concept has generally been unmitigated shite. Music that's good doesn't need an explanation
Hmm....

i've always thought of kode's music a 'death garage'. if there's any death garage it's kode9. but i'm not clear on definition according to ccru. who the hell is bobby diablo?

yeah i didn't want to reply to this but i feel it needs doing.

kode9 isn't full of himself. ask any dj/artsist and they are bound to include their own productions, especially when he was in the middle of producing his album and probably somewhat time stretched.

the interview typifies nothing. for every answered question there are thousands of unanswered ones and you can't possibly build up a solid profile of the individual based on this, a largely polemical interview and one in which he says that these ideas are seperate from his music.

lol what the fuck

look at his dj sets then ask yourself how consumed he is by his own music... easily the most diverse and open-minded dj of the central players

you should think twice before voicing such judgement based on so little information, especially about his CHARACTER...it seems to me that this is something that should be kept for personal conversations or whatever, the forum shouldnt be for bitching about how you perceive someones personality to be!

and BORING MUSIC?! i swear you lot must be thinking of a different kode9
