Big ups to those guys.
They had the fastest cuts/mix's out of all them for the night...

The 3rd(I think) dj decided to melt the voice coils and overheat the amps.
3 reds doesn't make a green ..........., I guess he didnt get that memo.
By the time Mala, Skream, Benga got up the sound was semi fucked and the rerumble was terrible.
It got so bad that the needle was jumping about.
At one point I handed Skream a penny to put down on the needle and he just flicked it off like wtf.
Haha epic win.
They were also letting shit ride for to fucking long in comparison to Toddla T and Cuts.

I guess I can't complain for it being free but I feel that there should've been more dubs being dropped and more aggressive mix's from Benga, Skream and Mala.

you sound like an idiot
you should bring a different attitude to viram tonight
LMAO Carlos are you serious? He is 100% totally correct. Why you trying to start shit and act all hard? Its another person in the same scene of the music we love. We shouldn't be getting at each others throats but the truth is the truth.

Last night everything was popping until the 3rd dj that was maxing out every channel on every mix on the mixer.

Every-time i go to a show there's that one dj that doesn't respect the sound system and wrecks something.

As for the skream set last night. MEH! he came all the way over form london and i heard a mix basically from a pod-cast in mid 08. Mala did more spinning then skream and dropped better tracks. Skream was just playing his own crap and old scene tunes.

Its 2009, its wmc, the shit we need to be hearing is.....

bar 9 - hoodrat
bar 9 - murda sound vip
jakes - rock the bells vip
crissy kriss - kick snare
la roux - lets get ravey (skreamix)
tempa t
new chase and status
etc...

Songs that rip the dance floor not put it to sleep.

I didnt get to catch plasticians set but im SURE he dropped proper dubs! His podcasts always rip!

I hope you guys can put your beef behind you guys but last night could of been better in so many ways. I wish you guys would let me turn knobs on the mixer it would never clip full red, you dont need a sound engineer for that and its not difficult to do. Just keep a eye on it.

Popular dj or not respect the sound system.

And btw, isn't there is max gain screw on the back off the mixer on the pioneers? All your doing is blowing the system for a shitty ass set.

My 2 cents.

Real talk.com/forums/TRUTH

If you wanted to rock the dance floor last night Plastician's latest podcast would of rocked the floor harder than that skream mala set.

On a sidenote big ups to basshead juan. I dont know how you bring so much talent over and manage to not have a cover. Your the man thanks for the sick talent and shows.

and the end of the night its about the music... dance you fucking heart out!
how often you get to see Skream, Mala, Plastic man, and Benga in one night.

Seriously big ups to Juan and the whole bass head crew.
Don't know you all but hope to get involved with you all soon.

I'm hoping to catch that Snoop Dog mix of Eastern Jams...
Plastician tore it up last Thursday on rinse.

As for the skream and mala set... deep shit there.
Tonight will probably bring out the nasty side when Skream & Benga go at it!

Thoughts on London Bass

Wow. Where do I start? Should I start on the good or bad? I'll go for the bad first.

Warning: Rant up the ying-yang with cussing. You know what it do.
What sucked:
- the crowd
- the MC at the beginning
- that one DJ who had the bass too high
- too many people high on K

I think that's it. Okay, let me elaborate on the crowd. There's a group of bedroom dj's who were right in front and was just bitching about shit. It was so fucking annoying. Actually, I don't know if they were bedroom dj's or real dj's from whatever town they're from, but they were just bitching when Mala (and even before) was on the decks. There should be a "no bedroom dj allowed in the dancefloor" rule cos they fuck up the vibe.

And then this girl who wanted to squeeze by me was trippin out. I told her she can go to my left cos my eyes were sensitive to the light coming from the dj booth and she goes on to say, nobody's trying to take your spot. She even said, you got your name reserved here? Bitch, fuck you, go to my left! You can have all that space there. I told her the crowd sucked compared to last night's. And she goes on to list the reasons why:

First, because last night at Bang Bang was a DNB show.
Second, this show wasn't promoted well.
Third, there's also a Diplo show at the same time.
Fourth, there's also the WODNB.
Fifth, because it's just a bunch of people who wants to see headlining dj's.

It doesn't make fucking sense. The crowd sucked! Some of the people there were pretentious little maggots who think just cos they've been in the scene forever, they can act like little bitches. That one group left and the crowd was better. I overheard that girl saying, yeah, I've been friends with them for a long time on Myspace (Mala, Skream, et al). Yah, okay, friends. You kick it together? LOL. That's what I thought. It doesn't matter if you're friends with them, you act like a little bitch. You should be the first dancing your ass off cos they are your friends. It's too soon to get jaded from this. It's still too young. It's gonna die if you keep fucking it up. I also compared how the crowd was in Socal. She goes on to say cos people like headliners. NO! It's because people like GOOD MUSIC and GOOD VIBE. Honestly, I hate the dubstep scene here in Miami/WMC. Even if our scene in San Diego is way smaller than L.A., people are chill. I don't know, maybe because Cali itself is just chill. Seattle DNB is also full of jaded fuckers. Rubbing it on my laid back ass and shit.

Second, that one MC. Damn, he sucked. He needs to not hold a mic ever until he flosses his brain cos all I could hear from him was, "I don't see any movement". WTF! Get off the fucking mic little boy! That one DJ also who fucked up Benga's set when he was getting into it. He had the bass too high. It reverberated this crappy ass sound. That one pretentious group was all up on his nuts. They looked like they were gonna go up to the dj booth and throw him out.

Too many people high on K. But whatever. I don't even wanna talk about this. It just fucks up my mood. I'm in a good mood today.

The good:
- Skream, Mala, Plastician, Benga.

That pretty much summed it up and you just had to be there. LOL. First time I saw Mala and Skream. Very memorable for sure. But can we talk about Plastician. This boy is a CROWD-PLEASER! He needs to come to Socal more often. Plastician definitely got the crowd going. I think he took the bloody energy out of me. I could barely dance when Benga got on the decks. My knees kept locking up.

I cannot wait to see Mala and Loefah in two weeks! HEAT!!!

Got home at 5 am. It was a good night. Can't wait for ViRAM tonight.

Apparently, the group I was talking about is a part of a big group here in Miami and they're on this forum. You need to get yourselves out of the box and look from the outside. Pathetic. Take a break from the scene. Maybe that will reset your mind and realize why and how you love this music in the first place. Your dicks are all over your asses it seems it hurts for you to even crack a smile. You cannot force respect from people, so I'm not giving you shit. You can all act hard but to me, you're just little bitches. I hate Miami dubstep because of you. I'm sure there's more goodness here than what I saw but you epitomized the dirt and represented for your city. I'd rather be stuck in a room full of people who has never heard of dubstep but are dancing their asses off than be stuck with you.

^ I am part of the Miami Dubstep scene and people love me. FACT. (and I love my Miami Dubsteppas)

its upsetting to read such a negative review from an out-of-towner because we take a lot of pride in our scene and the scene in general. I have personally experienced the Miami scene, New York scene, London scene and even in Greece and I think you were a bit harsh. Each place has their own vibe, just gotta appreciate it for what it is and maybe you need the attitude adjustment and people would be cool with you too.

*Big up Juan for putting on this show.
*Big up Miami Dubstep.
*Big up the London crew for tearin it up either way they put it.

I don't know anyone that well, but there are some REALLY COOL people in the MIA
It sucks that the sound was hurting by the Skream/Mala set, and I did expect to hear a bit more exclusives from Skream & Benga at both parties.
-BUT-
I still had a great time, thanks to Juan and Black Sheep crew.
Thanks So Much!
