Post by staypuft » Mon Mar 30, 2009 8:30 am

oh. my. days. a large chunk of Tempa's back cat is now available for download from a site other than c*ntplate.net!!! I really should be saving $$ but am waaaay tempted to snap it all up.

Unfortunately Boomkat got the worst customer care, I avoid them like the plague.

I recommend to use Digital-tunes instead

never had a problem with boomkat yet to have to find out there customer care operates.. so far found the digital service to be reliable.

I'd have to disagree based on my experience of Boomkat. I've bought thousands of pounds worth of records from them. In that time the only problem I've had is that they didn't send me a record once, which I found out was because of a change of staff. I got my money back, thye record free and lots of free promos and other tunes to make up for it.

Boomkat is straight up & down, no issues ever.
The ENTIRE Tempa digi catalog can be had at dubplate.net
I've heard more than a few people bitch about that site, I guess I'm lucky, never a problem.

Any emusic subscribers here? A lot of Tempa stuff just showed up there. Grabbed a few EPs and singles, and will undoubtedly get more later.

LOL dont get me started. Emusic is a joke when it comes to customercare. Its on the same level as Boomkat. You've been warned.

i used to shop at pelikanneck i manchester (which closed down after the inception of boomkat's online store), and through misguided loyalty i spent shit loads with them.

when I was in the UK the deliveries were usually late, and since moving to portugal they have been absolutely crap and my records have turned up late on three occasions , and also after the event i was playing at.

i told them i thought they were taking the piss. they said the last late delivery was due to heavy snow in manchester. I asked several people that i know in manchester and they said they was no snow.

i told them that they wouldn't be receiving my custom again. I have spent lots of money with them. they didn't even bother to reply.

my personal opinion, but I cannot recommend them at all.
