Nice one... I had ordered 4 5 and 7 from hmv japan... I think they were able to get them, but I dunno... they had to order from the supplier - so probably not. i'll trust red eye over them, and cancel my order for 4 & 5.

good job too. i reckon someone was about to learn a hard lesson about ordering from internet sites listing their stock as 'back order only'.
all good still. just wish they'd stick 2 out again. and don't go giving me no gip about how the plates don't exist any more either. i know all that- they got it on their hard drives though don't they? cut new ones.

Thing is, it was kind of confusing - the site said "For order", didn't realize it meant they had to order them first. Anyways... cancelled that!

HMV Japan's catalogue is huge and unwieldy - they list things when they get the information from suppliers that a release is coming, then they hardly ever maintain the entries to reflect whether something's sold out or unavailable (or even if it was actually released!). Most of the dubstep stuff is "For Order", which means they have no idea if they have it or not, when you order they contact their suppliers and see if the item is actually available. Had DMZ003 and 004 and Distance Fallen/Taipan on order for months.
I use them a lot for stuff I know is available though, cos postage is free within Japan. With Skream's albbum I'm testing their ability with pre-orders this time around.
