This makes it way to easy for people to mix, and subsequently drawing the wrong type of people toward mixing dubstep.

Thoughts?

I find that 140.000001354 is an easier tempo to dance too. :D

He's not Daedelus, the producer from Los Angeles. Different spelling.

I honestly don't see the correlation between easy mixes and "undesirables", or if there were, how that would in any way be a threat to seasoned DJs...

Bollocks - mixing is not about beatmatching.

Beatmatching is a NECESSITY - the art of mixing is how you acually move between the tunes.

Nothing wrong with giving DJ's more time to do this properly.

I like 140 :D

The fastest way to get attention on Dubstepforum: Say something incredibly stupid and inflammatory.

edit: and has anyone heard the threadstarter DJ? I'd like some money being put where the mouth has been...otherwise I'm just gonna assume the threadstarter can't DJ to save their life.

edit again: I guess the guy's been putting mixes on his facebook page...here's an idea, why doesn't the threadstarter put a mix up here to show us the watermark for what's considered "acceptable" in this supposedly objective world of dubstep mixing... :D

as i said earlier, what? please explain this statement to me.

you used chavs earlier as your "type of people" but i think that was a load of bollocks tbh.
you obviously have an opinion on this, so please elaborate...
